  • A new tool for discovery!

Analysis currently is cumbersome, narrow, and biased toward phenomena already understood because the data are so dense. Resulting analyses are time consuming and relatively shallow often resulting in common and superficial findings. The tools that are widespread, such as large commodity database files, are crude and limit who has access, and as a result the depth of the analysis suffers. Large specific tools, such as FAPRI (University of Missouri) are not accessible to a broad population of users, are episodic in their output, and most importantly do not allow users to navigate, explore and learn the dynamic interaction of the micro data world of commodities, countries, demographics, and year.

  • A tool for decision makers

Global Feed in 3-Dtm brings the world and their food needs to the doorstep of agricultural decision makers in the U.S. The software covers agricultural production, consumption, and income elasticities across 186 countries. Many of which are either declining, growing, or potential new markets for U.S. farmers. All trade relationships, imports-exports of feed grains and oilseeds are modeled across time, space (origin and destination).
